COMING TOGETHER TO GET HER SAFE

Garden Gate Ranch's volunteers make ministry effective, sustainable, and vibrant.

At Garden Gate Ranch, volunteers can help residents thrive in the day-to-day, assist in maintaining key ministry structures, speak to the community on behalf of Garden Gate Ranch, and more. All volunteers must complete orientation before serving.

AREAS OF VOLUNTEERISM

RESIDENT SUPPORT

Resident Support volunteers love working with people. It is their heart to serve survivors of sexual trauma and trafficking in a one-on-one or small group capacity. Resident Support volunteers will know the location of the Garden Gate Ranch property and will have direct contact with residents.

Examples: physical care; medical/psychological care; spiritual/emotional care; social formation; legal assistance; education; career planning

MISSION ASSISTANT

Mission Assistants love serving and doing things for others. These volunteers work behind the scenes to make certain that everything is functioning effectively and efficiently. Mission Assistants may know the location of the Garden Gate Ranch property and might have some contact with residents.
​

Examples: administration; gardening; property maintenance; vehicle maintenance; property contractors (plumbing; HVAC; etc.)

Volunteer Interest
Please select any volunteerism that you believe may be a fit for you from the options below.

Mission Assistant (MA) roles do not have direct interaction with residents and can be one time, or routine volunteer roles. Mission Assistant roles require entry level training.

Resident Support (RS) roles have direct interaction with residents. These positions require a higher level of volunteer training, and we ask for a minimum of a 6 month commitment.
